NPC 67

High Priest Horius. Abbey Crypt, room 1 (Mummy  Cleric Pathfinder CR 15)

Horius was the leader of the lich Crattak’s forces attacking the Abbey, he has been trying to break the curse holding him in the abbey for the last two centuries but to no avail.

Horius wears ornamental blood red plate mail his shield is painted with a laughing skull, he does not wear a helmet, all that can be seen of his face though are two red eyes filled with evil, the rest of his face is covered in rotting bandages. In his right hand be holds ” Ice Breaker” a morning star that glistens with a layer of frost.

Horius will have already detected the presence of living beings in the abbey and will be fully buffed up when he encounters the PC’s .  The room he is in is unhallowed ground giving him a +4 DC bonus to his channel energy and -4 DC vs good channeling.  he has also cast desecrate which adds another +3 to the DC.

Horius has no intention of letting living beings get anywhere near the library and will attack any on sight, he will attack with spells until the party close and then use “Ice breaker” to crush some skulls.
