Hello again. I really like this tool. I was wondering if you could include the rest of the metallic dragons as i need a gold dragon NPC for an upcoming session.

BTW I too had problems with the plain text button but i found the one at the bottom of the page works fine.

    Hi cradfax
I had a go with the generator with windows Vista and I.E, It did crash out a couple of times I can only suggest make sure the cursor rotating circle has gone before pressing the recalculate or print button. leave it a couple of seconds before pressing print, or recalculate.

    Hi Cradfax
have you tried printing them off from the edit saved NPCs menu, its not as fancy but you may have better luck.

I’m pretty sure it’s your web setup it seams to be deleting cookies straight away. When I use the generator it may time out after 10mins.
I’ll try to test it out on a windows Vista setup tomorrow.

Still doing it man, sigh , tis driving me nuts. Even from saves it just wont go to the plain text version. I need to paste into my adventure document so just printing them out isnt any use really….

Hi Paul, hey ! heres me on xmas day using dingles`, anyway , just tried it via firefox….bounced again…
Am I really the only person getting this glitch ??

  7. admin says:

    Hi Cradfax,
I suggest trying to use firefox rather than I.E. and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Paul, Ive always used this pc with the monster generator. It has always been a problem though , yes. Its partly why I decided to pay the subscription fee, I assumed it was a functionality thing to persuade people to sign up.
Ive just managed to get it to work twice out of five tries. And did this by saving. Then when it bounced; going back to the save, and trying again.
So its working after a fashion now. Thanks for what youve done so far, and once again let me say what a brilliant tool it is. i really appreciate what youre doing here.
Will keep you informed as to how the functionality continues to perform…cheers

    Hi cradfax,
I’ve made a change to the print function so it will not bounce if it can’t find the cookie but try to print what it can. I’ve also disabled the add.
let me know if this helps.
Has this always been a problem or are you using a different computer or browser than normal?
    Paul

    Reatarterd pc after resetting cookies
    ….same thing.

Im running windows internet explorer on Vista, Bt Yahoo, its not anything wierd or off track.

Still the same thing keeps happening…….at a loss,
    please help!!!
I got a three day game from 28-30th Dec.
It covers three years game time and is massivly expansive. Ive got most of the maps , plot background encounter and NPC descriptions etc done, but im depending on Dingles to fill out all the stats.
I have players coming from Germany to take part and really need this tool to complete all the preparation. I still have quite a lot of sub plot, time frame, encounter descriptions etc to do.
This is why I happily paid for the years subscription,. The monster generator is invaluable as a time saving device.
Basically In 3.5 everything you meet is as complex as any character, so to write up all those stats is a massive b*ll ache.
    I-NEED-THIS-TOOL-!!!!!!!!!!!
Please help me to get it to work Paul 🙂
