    Brilliant website!!!
Thank you for making it ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€
I wish you the best in your endeavor to make some $$ from this. You could temporarily setup a PayPal account post a link at the top of every page asking for donations and see how that goes ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Paul says:

A good idea Jeff, I am not going to do any more work on the monster generator (this is free to use but won’t be upgraded). I will be looking to put a cap on the NPC Generator and charge a small fee for lifetime/Yearly use with no cap.

But I think it a good idea to split the NPC generator up to add two selections:

Monster which can’t go up character levels and
    and
Monsters which can go up character levels

This would slim down both lists.
(Or create a seperate menu option).
    Paul

  3. Jeff says:

Paul this is a fantastic resource, thank you.
One recommendation, the races at the top of the list reflect the more common player races. Just a speed thing.

  4. Paul says:

    Hi Petra,
I don’t think the Eberron stuff is in the SRD (System Reference Document). If it’s not it will be copyrighted, so I can’t use any of the material. WOTC could close the site down. I will look into it futher though.
    Paul

  5. Petra says:

    hi, Paul, Admin.
what you should think about doing is adding in some stuff from eberron. I enjoy the world of eberron greatly, specifically the new base class, athe artificer. if you could look into that, i’d be greatful.

  6. admin says:

    Hi JD,
It is part of my plan to allow people to add in their own monster creations and save them for later use. I’m hoping this will be available in a few months time.
    Paul

  7. JD says:

    Paul,
I would love to be able to create a creature from SCRATCH or using a base template (outsider, animal, humanoid, etc). Pick and choose feats and skills that i want and equipment as well.

Is this possible using your calculator? You’ve so far managed to save me a ton of time converting the base that I have so far, just need to tweak a few things and I think i’ll be good.

  8. admin says:

    Thanks Ciryon,
It is my plan to create an encounter generator in the next couple of months.
I’m thinking of allowing people to save there favorite creations and add these to the random encouter tables. So there will have a list of random NPC/Monster with spell lists and magic items already populated by other GMs. An NPC Database! That is my ultimate goal.

    Paul

  9. Ciryon says:

Excellent tools! Just spent a weekend agonizing over these, since I’m not a very experienced DM. Created a char in 15mins instead of 3 hours I spent on the weekend.

It would be great to have also an encounter level calculator. I could for example create a skeleton warrior 4th level and choose a EL and see how many of the created monsters would be appropriate challenge.

Or a dedicated encounter generator altogether using this as a base.

  10. admin says:

    Thanks Mick,
I’m hoping to add in all classes that are not copyrighted by wizards (anything in the System Reference Document).
[Edit most classes need some tweaking in the generarator and a number of different databases to change for them to work so I will have to add them piecemeal e.g. spell lists or a choice of feats at certain levels, specific weapon profs…
At a later date I am thinking about createing a class creation page where you can create your own classes or add in any you wish for personal use, but this project is still several months away.]
