Jarvis the Tramp (Human Sorcerer D&D 3.5 CR 15)

Jarvis the Magnificent was a great sorcerer, he spent 15 years as a member of the adventuring party “The Honest Band”, this party were all of good alignment and spent their time slaying evil and righting wrongs.  The Honest Band came to a very sticky end when they took on the Great Red Wyrm Rebluxis, The paladin stumbled into the full blast of Rebluxis breath weapon, the cleric got her head bitten off and the thief just got ripped to pieces, Jarvis was the only person to escape, teleporting away just as the dragon was about to finish him off with his fiery breath.

Jarvis has never got over the death of his friends, since that day he has lived his life as a beggar on the streets of the Dragon City. For a Beggar Jarvis is quite clean, his clothes may be on the tatty side but they do not smell.  His eyes have not lost their piercing blue shine. Jarvis easily makes a living as a beggar, people somehow feel relaxed around him, he will often perform conjuring tricks for children.

Most of the fight has now gone out of Jarvis the Beggar. As long as no one is noticing he will though give a helping hand to people in danger. He has often helped a young pickpocket escape the clutches of the law with a well placed haste or a cloud of fog, and he has stopped fights with charms and suggestions. He will use his bluff skill to disguise his spell casting to look like the mumblings and twitches of an old beggar.

Jarvis will only keep enough money to feed himself, the rest he will give away to other beggars or the city urchins.Grishad King of the Tramps is aware that Jarvis is more powerful than he seems, but is not aware just how powerful..
