NPC 28

Dead Eye Klod (Kobold, Fighter/Pirate Pathfinder CR 7)

Klod is the leader of the “Shark tooth” clan of kobolds, they live in caves next to a hidden cove off the island of Tagos.  The klan had built simple fishing boats and knew the sea pretty well, their favorite delicacy being sharks.

One stormy night 5 years ago the brig “The Black Princess” trying to find a safe haven to ride out the storm found the hidden cove and laid anchor. The Shark Tooth clan could not believe their luck and swarmed over the boat,  after a short battle they had butchered the exhausted seamen.

Now five years on, the Shark Tooth clan, lead by Dead Eye Klod,  are making quite a decent living in piracy. Klod prefers to sail out at dusk every night and prowl the sea, slipping back  into the hidden cove come dawn. The Black Princess is  sometimes are away for days at a time, but Klod prefers to hide the ship during bright days as the light dazzles.  The kobolds never leave any survivors from the raids preferring to ransack, and then burn any prizes.

There are a number of tales about the ghost ship “The Black Princess” being seen slipping through the evening mist, a faint sound of yapping being heard on the wind.
