Having Trouble Accessing Some of the Menu Options

Some people after having paid membership were not able to access some of the screens. One problem was to do with their bookmarks pointing to pages other than the main page. Changing the bookmark to point at www.dinglesgames.com should fix the problem.

Since I have swapped to a new server you may have to login via the update login information button if you want to create monsters.

Another problem is to do with cookies being disabled on your web browser. Dingle’s Games uses cookies to pass your login user id between the different pages. If you are using Internet Explorer try going to Internet options (top right cog) then privacy, select sites, and enter https://www.dinglesgames.com/ and click “allow” This will enable cookies for Dingle’s Games. After you have made the change you will have to refresh the web pages on the D&D and Pathfinder Generators, and the Login/Register by pressing F5. This should now display your correct logged-in information on the left-hand side.

If you are using other browsers make sure you have cookies enabled.

If you are still having problems you may need to delete the dinglesgames cookie and clear the cache on your browser.

You can contact me at paul@dinglesgames.com if you need help

Hi ANDREWC123, It sounds as if the site is losing your cookies. If you have set up dinglesgames in your accepted cookies try closing your web browser down and restarting it
Let me know how you get on
    Cheers
    Paul

Hi slic62000, I think you might have used a different login Id as you din’t seem to be set up as a member. I’ve found your membership payment and now set you up as a lifetime member with slic62000.
    Cheers

Hey! I paid for a lifetime membership sometime last year (I cannot remember the exact day) but I am unable to access anything after 5 lvls. I really enjoy the website and I would like to continue to still use it.
    Thanks in advance.

PayPal’s Error messages are a bit cryptic and of course they don’t really explain to the users what the root cause is. Error 3004 can be associated with the slow loading of some web pages on the PayPal website. The issue usually resolves itself. What you may want to try is deleting your web browser’s cookies, history and temp files. Then close the browser, reopen it and retry. This gives you a clean start to try again.

Thanks! That makes sense, I probably made this one a long time ago, then forgot about it.

    Cheers!
