NPC 81

The Singing Mermaid, John White the Singing Sailor (Bard/Expert Sea Capt Pathfinder CR 8 )

John White spends a lot of time in the bar of the  Singing Mermaid, he enjoys a good sing along in the tavern making his living from tips. He is 36 years old, his skin is heavily tanned, and weather worn, his hair sun bleached and tied in a pony tail.  He wears a red and white striped sweater over his chain mail shirt.

John makes enough money in tips to rent a room at the Singing Mermaid and get quite drunk most evenings.

He used to be third in command of the pirate ship “Revenge” until all aboard her where slaughtered by lizard men while the captain and John were ashore burying the latest haul of treasure. John and the captain hid on the island  until they managed to build a small raft and escape. The raft drifted for 15 days before being picked up by a merchant ship. The capt had died of thirst the previous day.

Now John is on the lookout for a small group of adventurers to help him recover the buried treasure.

In combat he will use spring attack and vital strike to attack with a well placed stab and then withdraw.
