Having Trouble Accessing Some of the Menu Options

Some people after having paid membership were not able to access some of the screens. One problem was to do with their bookmarks pointing to pages other than the main page. Changing the bookmark to point at www.dinglesgames.com should fix the problem.

Since I have swapped to a new server you may have to login via the update login information button if you want to create monsters.

Another problem is to do with cookies being disabled on your web browser. Dingle’s Games uses cookies to pass your login user id between the different pages. If you are using Internet Explorer try going to Internet options (top right cog) then privacy, select sites, and enter https://www.dinglesgames.com/ and click “allow” This will enable cookies for Dingle’s Games. After you have made the change you will have to refresh the web pages on the D&D and Pathfinder Generators, and the Login/Register by pressing F5. This should now display your correct logged-in information on the left-hand side.

If you are using other browsers make sure you have cookies enabled.

If you are still having problems you may need to delete the dinglesgames cookie and clear the cache on your browser.

You can contact me at paul@dinglesgames.com if you need help

Thanks. Now, if a monster has +4 Climb and +4 Grapple, how can I add it in the new monster I create?

  2. valminder says:

Hi. THere is a problem with the monster creation:

    mon_level_adjmon_nat_acmon_speedmon_speed_flymon_speed_climbmon_speed_burrow
Speeds must be numeric. Do not enter ‘ft’

The speed was only “20” but I still get this error.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I just purchased a lifetime membership 2 days ago, but can’t access paid member services. I was hoping you could look into that for me.

    Thanks!

Having a lot trouble with the site on Chrome and Edge. Lifetime membership. Freezes up when I hit Generate Monster from the RPG NPC generator. Followed cookie instructions. It is kind of a small disaster – lots of baddies to create for tomorrow’s game and the old fashion way takes way too long. 🙁

Hi Dallas1967, I’ve just tested it on Chrome and it’s working Ok, It could just have been a slow time. I’ll reboot the server and see if that speeds things up. Let me know if you still have problems.

    Hi,

I can log in and it shows that I am signed in with my lifetime membership. This also is the same when I go to Create NPCs 3.5, however when I go to Create NPCs Pathfinder it shows me as logged out and I do not have full access. I have tried every cookie setting available to me and refreshed/reset the computer every way possible. Please help me get access back to the Pathfinder NPC creator.

    Hello,
I have renewed my membership. Its not allowing me to access in level greater than 5 nor is it allowing prestige classe or second class. I enable cookies and refreshed.

Hi tassilo63, The renewal should have sent you to the login page and logging in then activates the renewal.
I’ve now set you up manually as a lifetime member. Let me know if you have any problems.

    Hello,
some days ago I purchased a life-long Membership but don’t get the right Access to create better NPC/ Monsters.
Is it possible, that my earlier 3 month Membership from 2012 is the Problem.
My E-Mail-adress for the new user is still the same as in 2012.
It would be nice, if the Problem could be solved in the next days, because i Need a lot of valiant Sandpoint-Townspeople (some with Level > 5) for my “Pathfinder-Runelords-Campaign”.
Sorry for my not so perfect English and greetings from Germany.

Hi KnightForlorn, The problem is you have 2 user ids, KnightForlorn which was created in 2010, and TheForlornKnight which was created in 2015 and has a 6 month membership. I’ve now put a 6 month membership on KnightForlorn as well so you can use either. Easy mistake to make (you’re not the first).
    Cheers,
    Paul
